We are seeking a Senior Advisor Workplace Health & Safety to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis. The role will be based at Sydney Olympic Park with hybrid work options.

We offer a competitive salary to the right candidate with total remuneration package ranging from $106,025 up to $117,363 per annum plus 11% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.

About the roleThe Senior Advisor Workplace Health and Safety is responsible for delivering a range of Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Injury Management (IM) services to support Office of Sport objectives.

This role actively provides expert advice to management, staff and diverse stakeholders on issues relating to WHS policies, processes, procedures, and IM cases to improve practice and meet compliance requirements.

About you
Our ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• High level knowledge of WHS Principles, injury management services and legislative requirements as applicable to safe work practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, prioritisation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven competency in establishing a safety culture across the organisation whilst dealing with geographically dispersed stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

• Current NSW Class C Driver’s License.
• Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.

1. In this role you will be responsible for providing important WHS advisory & consultancy service to diverse stakeholders across the organisation. Please elaborate your experience in building relationships with internal stakeholders across service areas to achieve organisational objectives.
2. What is your understanding of wellbeing in a workplace? Explain your approach in supporting the establishment of a safety culture in an organisation including the development of a safety management system.
