Camden Haven High School with an enrolment of 1035 students, including 85 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, is an integrated face to face and distance education campus, where teaching staff deliver lessons in both modes.
Emphasis is on quality teaching and learning, enhancing student achievement and learning outcomes, with a strong commitment to student engagement and attendance. The school promotes a caring and supportive environment, providing programs that cater for students of all abilities and backgrounds. Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Hospitality (11-12) and Food Technology (7-12)
Ability to use data and evidence-based classroom practice to deliver engaging, challenging and differentiated programs to meet the needs of a diverse range of students, including those who learn online, and foster a culture of high expectations.
Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisation skills with the capacity to work as a collaborative member of the Home Economics faculty and contribute to whole school programs.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
