- Approval to teach primary library, or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
- Demonstrated capacity to teach students how to access and utilise information and provide them with quality literary experiences.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team, help colleagues access information, and stay up-to-date with the latest information management and information technology trends.
- Demonstrated ability to be highly organised, resourceful and can manage and implement a stimulating library learning environment, including the physical and digital resources.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
This is a permanent part time position for 4 days per week 0.8FTE (Full-time equivalent)
If applicable engagement will be temporary until successful completion of the Teacher Librarian qualifications as recognised by the NSW Department of Education which must be completed within 24 months.
