Coonamble High School is a Connected Communities comprehensive co-educational school with an enrolment of 180 students. This includes 75% Indigenous students and a Support Unit of 5 classes. The town has a population of approximately 3000 with a vibrant sporting and community calendar. The school is situated approximately 160km north of Dubbo.
Supported by the School Reference Group, AECG, P&C, Clontarf and NASCA Academies, the school also enjoys partnerships with key service providers to enable students to engage fully in their learning and achieve strong levels of success. Students participate in a senior compressed curriculum which offers broad subject choice. Coonamble High School has a strong emphasis our three core values of Care, Pride and Respect. The school works closely with our partner primary schools to assist student transition.
