AddressOur Client is a Tier1 client in Financial Services sector. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join their team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL querying, data visualization, and a passion for uncovering trends and patterns within data sets.
Responsibilities:
- Data Extraction and Analysis: Utilize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases. Perform thorough analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Data Visualization: Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software. Present data in a compelling way to facilitate decision-making processes.
- Data Interpretation: Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to stakeholders. Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Identify and address any data quality issues or discrepancies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to marketing, finance, and operations to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance data analysis efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience as a Data Analyst in Financial Service sector (A MUST).
- Solid experience in SQL querying for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong data visualization skills using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
- Nice to have VBA experience.
