This part time role is scheduled to commence on Monday, June 17, 2024.

About you
As a Music Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
- implement and deliver the Music and Drama Curriculum K-6, providing engaging learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of students
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- use relevant technologies
- lead vocal ensembles eg the school choir
- work collaboratively with the instrumental tutors and classroom teachers to deliver quality performing arts education, including public performances and liturgical events
- promote and implement Sydney Catholic Schools mission and vision
You will have attained:
- a tertiary qualification in Primary Education with Music experience and/or qualifications, plus the ability to teach Drama
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
