About the role
TAFE NSW is looking for industry qualified teachers within the following areas to join the team as Casual Teachers and share your industry knowledge and expertise with an engaged student cohort: -
Beauty
Nails
Make Up
You will become part of a highly driven and successful team who work collaboratively to achieve students’ success.
Campus locations include Tamworth/ Armidale/ Inverell/ Dubbo/ Broken Hill/ Orange/ Parkes/ Forbes/ Bathurst/ Lithgow (subject to availability). This recruitment will also be used to create a suitability list which may be used to fill future similar positions within the West region.
About You
You will love this position if you like to share your passion in the beauty, nails or Make Up industry and have a minimum of three (3) years industry experience post qualification in your area of specialisation. You are ready to educate a team of passionate students from a range of backgrounds to achieve their personal and work goals whilst developing and implementing an educational and career plan. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to share information with your students through face to face and connected learning platforms, if required.
To be considered for the role you will have:
Relevant vocation qualification in your area of specialisation as per below:-
Beauty – Diploma (or above) in Beauty Therapy
Nails – Certificate III (or above) in Nail Technology (or equivalent)
Makeup – Certificate III (or above) in Make Up (or equivalent)
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
Minimum of three years post-qualification experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional currency
