THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $82.01 to $88.60 per hour + 11% superannuation.
Location: Moorabbin campus
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Position Status: Casual Appointment.
Working with Holmesglen Institute’s Building, Construction, Design, and Electrotechnology, this position requires a passionate educator to inspire the next generation of Electrical Trades students. With the unique privilege of teaching across three qualifications, you'll have the platform to display your mastery in electrical, as well as deliver A-grade units as well as non-A-grade licensed electrical units depending on your qualification.

ABOUT YOU
- Current industry knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being delivered, with a particular emphasis on Course Code UEESS00133 (Restricted - Disconnection/Reconnection of Fixed Wired Low Voltage Electrical Equipment).
- Experience as a Teacher of vocational and/or higher education and training programs.
- Ability to convey knowledge, skills, and experience to a diverse student population through the selection and use of a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies.
- An approved degree or diploma in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed; and
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116); or
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502.
