TAFE NSW are seeking Teachers of Glass and Glazing to work on a casual basis located at the TAFE NSW Lidcombe Campus. The role involves a broad range of activities which directly and indirectly support learning through the delivery of educational programs. Providing appropriate variety and flexibility in educational practice and undertaking assessment and evaluation of learning outcomes.
About You
To succeed in the role, you are passionate about sharing your knowledge and industry experience to ensure that your students are set up for success. You have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders including colleagues, industry, and students. You are self-driven and disciplined individual, who can manage high workloads and competing demands within a dynamic and flexible work environment.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Hold a minimum of a Certificate III in Glass and Glazing or equivalent.
- Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years relevant, and post-qualification experience in an industry relevant to your qualification/s, gained no longer than five (5) years previously.
- Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a commitment to maintain technical industry currency in any discipline.
