Somerville House is a day and boarding school for girls established in 1899, providing exceptional education for students from Prep through to Year 12, with a co-educational Pre-Prep offering. Two opportunities present themselves to join the Somerville House Mathematics Department.
We are looking for:
1 x Permanent, Full-Time Teacher – Mathematics
1 x Fixed-Term Contract, Full-Time Teacher – Mathematics (Terms 2 & 3 2024).
Our ideal candidates will have taught Mathematics within an Independent School, specifically across Senior School (specifically Years 7 – 10), with excellent knowledge of, and experience with the QCAA and Australian Curriculum for Mathematics, and within the context of a girl's school environment.
Whilst maintaining a high standard of learning and teaching, the Teacher of Mathematics will be a collaborative, innovative and future-focused colleague.

It is a mandatory requirement to hold the appropriate tertiary qualifications and current Queensland Teacher Registration (QCT).
Employment Classification
The salary and conditions of employment for Academic staff are in accordance with the Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association (PMSA) Enterprise Agreement 2021, as varied or replaced from time-to-time.
