Saint Ignatius’ College is seeking a highly motivated teacher of Technology and Applied Studies - Computing and Software to join our team. You will be a part of vibrant educational community which aims to provide students the opportunity to utilise their talents to make a difference in the community.
The position is fulltime (1.0 FTE) ongoing commencing the start of Term 2, 2024.
SKILLS AND EXPEREINCE
The successful applicant needs to have the ability to teach the following courses:
• Stage 5 Computing Technology
• Stage 6 Information Process and Technology, Software Engineering & Enterprise Computing
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will:
• Hold the appropriate tertiary qualifications
• Be an outstanding experienced classroom teacher of Information Software/Processes/ Technology
• Be accredited with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to be eligible to teach in NSW.
• Have a strong knowledge of the new curriculum
• Have the skills to deliver lessons that stimulate and engage students of all academic abilities
• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
• Show commitment to ongoing professional learning including remaining current with relevant curriculum changes
• Hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of children and young people
