As we grow, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our close-knit and supportive team in Ropes Crossing, NSW.
As an ECT, your core responsibilities will include the following:
- Reporting to the Centre Director on teaching matters, this role will implement programmes in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of MindChamps.
- Deliver the training programs and curriculum of MindChamps, in accordance with the National Quality Standard Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia
- Create a stimulating and positive environment to support the development
- Assist our Champs in daily routines and meal time in accordance with food safety regulations
- Respond to the emotional needs of our Champs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our Champs and their parents
- Be responsible for the children’s transition to the school program
What we are looking for
- A completed Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent)
- Current/Valid Working With Children’s Check (WWC) and relevant First Aid Certificates
- Previous working experience in Early Childhood Education
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- The desire to make a positive contribution to a professional, collaborative and focused team
- A love for children and a desire to make childcare a long-term career
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care
