Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join their team, specifically catering to students in Years 5 & 6. The successful candidate will be passionate about education, possess strong leadership skills, and have a deep commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students in Years 5 & 6.
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Implement the school's curriculum and incorporate religious education into daily teaching practices.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school community.
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and concerns.
- Valid registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification specializing in Primary Education.
- Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Years 5 & 6.
- Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and the ability to integrate best practice teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
