An amazing opportunity has opened for a talented individual to join the team as a Team Effectiveness Coach & Facilitator.

If successful, you will be the catalyst for enhancing team dynamics and leadership capabilities across the organisation, employing a blend of expert facilitation, strategic coaching, and personalised development programs.

This opportunity is based in Brisbane and is a part time 3 x days per week on a six-month max-term contract. 

What you’ll do 

  • As a champion of the "Flex for Great Outcomes" framework, provide targeted coaching to elevate team dynamics and performance. Work closely with teams across the organisation to uncover and address areas hindering Team Effectiveness and optimal ways of working, including hybrid environments.
  • Design and deliver engaging leadership workshops and training programs tailored to the needs of both individuals and teams. E.g. Induction, ways of working canvas, Team Strengths Profile debriefs etc.
  • Conduct comprehensive 360-degree feedback sessions for both teams and individuals, offering insightful coaching to nurture their professional development and teamwork.
  • Evaluate and communicate the progress and achievements of the individuals and teams you support, highlighting areas of improvement and success stories to inspire continued growth.
  • Build and nurture enduring relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring they feel continuously supported and engaged. Your dedication to their success will be the cornerstone of sustained organisational improvement and a culture of excellence.

What you’ll bring  

  • Cert IV Workplace Training & Assessment (or equivalent experience)
  • Coaching qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Strengths Profile accredited coach (preferred)
  • Human Resources or Psychology qualification (preferred)
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering engaging workshops and training sessions that cater to the needs of diverse audiences. This includes the ability to facilitate meaningful discussions, manage group dynamics, and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Proficiency in various coaching methodologies, including team coaching. Ability to tailor coaching techniques to individual needs and team dynamics.
  • A strong foundation in the principles of organisational behavior, team dynamics, and adult learning theories to diagnose issues, facilitate effective interventions, and support developmental processes.
  • The capability to evaluate team and individual progress effectively, using both qualitative and quantitative measures, and to communicate this in a way that promotes learning and development.
  • A deep understanding of and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds and perspectives within the organisation. The ability to foster an inclusive environment that respects and values diversity.
  • Skills in leading by example, influencing without authority, and driving change across diverse teams. The capacity to mentor and coach leaders to enhance their impact and effectiveness within their teams.
  • Knowledge of best practices for hybrid work models and the ability to coach teams and leaders in navigating the complexities of remote and in-person collaboration.
