About the role:
- Coordinating the day-to-day Security Operations.
- Security Threat Detection, security log ingestion and analyse.
- Coordinating responses to cybersecurity incidents.
- Lead and manage the Security Operations Team, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Provide expertise, advice, consultancy and support throughout the life of Security and Network Operations.
- Demonstrated experience in information technology and/or the education domain or a similar role requiring a similar skill set.
- Degree qualification in business, commerce, information technology or information systems or in another relevant field. Post-graduate qualifications is preferable.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders, adapting communication styles as needed.
- Proven track record of professional team management and leadership, demonstrating the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues, identify potential solutions, and prioritise them effectively.
