The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Technology Advisor to be the Accreditation Lead for key Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) Program and development activities for a range of customers. The role is based in Brisbane, QLD, Adelaide, SA or RAAF Base Williamtown (Newcastle), NSW.
Responsibilities
- Providing subject matter expertise on the accreditation requirements of BDA programs per the Information Security Manual (ISM) to support the development and implementation of programs and networks;
- Collaborating with BDA Global Security Activity Cyber Security Team, leading the development and implementation of an accreditation framework to identify, track and manage the inherent accreditation requirements of networks and systems.
- Coordinating ICT certifications to a standard that meets Government expectations, ensuring that ICT certification authorities liaise with physical certification authorities as required; and
- Liaising with within BDA on technical ICT security matters, including situations in which physical security issues impacts shared ICT risks.
Experience/Qualifications
- To be successful in this role you may hold tertiary or industry Cyber Security and/or Information Security certifications. Such experience might also include certification as or experience in IRAP assessments, along with experience as an ITSA/ITSM/ITSO within a government / defence or defence prime environment.
- Detailed working knowledge of the Defence Information and Cyber Security practices and procedures specifically relating to high security locations and programs;
- Experience in Australian Government classified information management;
- Understanding and Experience in systems accreditation per ISM, DSPF and PSPF.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborative relationships with leaders, accreditors and employees;
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements. Ability to obtain clearance up to NV2.
