The role is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing stock, stock on hand levels for consumables and spare parts, safe and efficient material handling and storage, workshop equipment and distribution activities for the NSW Ambulance Fleet, Equipment and Uniform unit to enable NSW Ambulance to meet its operational and business objectives.Please refer to the and for further information.OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE (for eligible employees)Besides your salary, you’ll also have access to:

- Proven knowledge of and relevant experience in procurement practices, distribution, stores/warehousing, use and application of Health-related medical equipment
- Demonstrated ability to apply planning and reporting concepts, demonstrated understanding of warehouse management and systems
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with contractors and service providers and maintain auditable records; arrange regular servicing, maintenance, and testing; responding to performance difficulties relating to medical equipment
- Effective planning and organising skills and the demonstrated ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines in a high-volume work environment where attention to detail is essential; effective task allocation and work prioritisation to staff
- Well-developed oral and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated commitment in providing effective procurement and warehousing services, and to interact with involved staff, managers and external stakeholders.
- Have a current forklift licence
