Team Leader

Fantastic opportunity to join a market leading provider of nuclear medicine products and services. The role will be based in Belconnen, ACT.
The Microbiologist- Team Leader will be working in the Scientific Quality Control Microbiology Department and reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Duties:

• Supervision of the quality control microbiology team
• Ensure accurate, complete and timely documentation to facilitate analysis of data, and subsequent preparation of reports
• Microbiological testing of final products and starting materials
• Participate in method validation activities
• Environmental monitoring
• Participate in laboratory investigations and environmental deviation reports
• Maintenance of QC procedures and other documents
• Preform calibration and maintenance activities for all quality control equipment in line with documented schedule
• Check all QC monitoring devices on a daily basis and record readings accordingly
• Maintain quality control testing and sample records and data entry
• Writing and review of quality system documents, assuring GMP compliance
• Ability to work reasonable additional hours as required

The successful candidate will have:

• 2-3 years of experience as a microbiologist within a healthcare/pharmaceutical environment
• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related science
• TGA/GMP regulatory knowledge
• Sterile manufacturing/testing experience
• High proficiency in writing procedural and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail
• Team player
• Highly organised
