There's an exciting opportunity for you to join Payroll Transactional Services as a Team Leader! You will contribute to the delivery of customer focussed Payroll services to clients of Queensland Health through leadership and management of payroll and related administrative processes and systems.
The Team Leader will monitor and manage the performance and processing outputs of client service officers within the team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll to clients.

This exciting job opportunity falls under the Corporate Enterprise Solutions branch within the Department of Health and provides solutions and services that support Queensland Health's enterprise corporate applications while also supporting the payroll transactional processes. This application suite includes the largest integrated rostering and payroll solution in the public sector and the finance, business and logistics solution and management environment.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to apply them in managing daily operations of a team to provide customer-focussed service in a large, complex and diverse environment.
- Ability to contribute to and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives, strategies and principles in a team environment.
- High level knowledge of Payroll Services with demonstrated ability to provide accurate advice in accordance with relevant industrial legislation.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills and the including the ability to communicate and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels in an environment of organisational change.
