Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Team Leader to join our team! The Team Leader is responsible for forming, developing, and mentoring the operating team in a values driven, performance-based environment.
The Teamm Leader also owns the team to achieving key performance indicators and daily performance goals, coordinates activity between shifts and departments and keeps the plant informed about operations performance on a regular basis.
The Team Leader coordinates the tasks of operations and the maintenance team, compiles information, and formulates a daily approach to boost product quality and work efficiency, while also ensuring quick resolution of any production issues that occur.
The Team Leader applies critical thinking and problem solving methodology to problems and issues, escalates and works cross functionally to resolve issues.
Main Responsibilities:

-Coordinates team training and activities regarding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), safety, quality, sanitation, maintenance and efficiency.
-Accountable for meeting or exceeding work safety standards according to published Hill's and Colgate Safety Policies.
-Work closely with teams to translate business needs into daily operations.
-Utilises continuous improvement methodology to drive performance goals.
-Ensure personnel adhere to Hill's and Colgate policies, safety standards, GMP's, including Quality Assurance.
-Facilitates a problem-solving environment that values and rewards team member involvement.
-Coaches team to handle daily activities such as timekeeping, vacation, overtime and attendance.
-Guide and inspire the manufacturing team through continuous training and performance assessments; manage the integration process for new team members.
-Work with teams to increase innovation, technical expertise, analysis and problem solving skills.
-Participates in equipment commissioning to ensure effective operationalization and transfer of technology.
-Leads by exhibiting Company values and Leadership Principles.
-Menchmarks best practices from existing Supply Chain facilities.
-Mentors, champions and delivers key training initiatives to build team social, business and technical skills.
-Performs other duties as assigned.
-Complies with all policies and standards.
Required (Education, Knowledge required, Language skills, etc) :

-A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or Science
-Minimum 5 years Manufacturing experience within FMCG
-Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience
-Must be proficient with Google Suite: Docs, Slide and Sheets
Preferred Requirements:

-Previous SAP experience
-History of successfully guiding and developing others through coaching and mentorship.
-Experience is managing high performing teams
