APG Workforce is currently looking for a dynamic Team Leader to join our client's Customer Service team based in Wulkurakka, Ipswich.
Our client is well-known for their chicken products suppling to well known supermarkets and retailers across the country!
The Role:
- The customer service team currently consists of 8 employees, the position reports to the QLD Sales Manager.
- Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.00 Am to 3.30 Pm.
- $34.95 per hour + a 2IC allowance of $69.91 per week.
- This is a casual role with FULL TIME hours and is likely to go permanent after trial period
The position requires strong customer service skills.
The job position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor and has direct working relationships with sales reps, planning, distribution, transport scheduler, QA supervisor and other customer service clerks.
Key Performance Tasks / Areas of Accountability:
- KPI's are agreed and understood.
- Answer all incoming calls.
- Data entry.
- Provide assistance to other team members.
- Communicating shortages or excess stock to customers.
- Update standing order records as requested by customers.
- Ensure staffing levels are maintained at appropriate levels and are adjusted to meet requirements.
- Boosting staff morale
- Assist the company to improve in the areas of Safety, Environmental, Quality and Compliance.
- Actively participate in training when required.
Critical Skills and Experience Required
- Experience leading a team in a customer service or call center environment or similar
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent phone manner.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to make quick and correct decisions "on the job".
- Ability to achieve KPI's & Ability to meet deadlines.
