Myrio Therapeutics is a private biotechnology company located in Blackburn North, Melbourne, and the creators of Retained Display (ReD)TM.
The ReDTM platform enables rapid and routine discovery of antibodies with a high degree of selectivity – we focus on immunotherapy antibodies. The coming 24-months at Myrio will see intense efforts to commercialise our antibodies and will require a team committed to that goal.
The Role
We are seeking a molecular biologist to take over leadership of our Clone Identification (CloneID) team – there will be a significant overlap with the current Clone ID leader to facilitate a productive transition. The CloneID team interfaces with all aspects of our research team and is responsible for the identification and fidelity of our antibody clones. The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills in the areas of molecular biology, next generation (Oxford Nanopore) Sequencing and python scripting.
It is crucial that the candidate has strong interpersonal and leadership skills and preferably has experience in effectively running a small team along with designing and running experiments independently. Additionally , the candidate will be expected to perform routine laboratory tasks such as media and buffer preparation and administrative duties including data management and inventory maintenance.
While the position is full-time with a 5-day working week, applicants may be required to work on a team where one day is a weekend day.

• Experience on the Oxford Nanopore Sequencing system
