Providing a range of services and facilities to a diverse community, we have a cohesive and collaborative culture that thrives on having a positive impact.The Development and Environmental Compliance team is responsible for investigating complaints and resolving non-complying and illegal land use activities as it relates to development, swimming pool safety and Environmental protection.About the role:

• We are currently seeking a Team Leader for the Development and Environmental Compliance team to supervise and lead staff and to effectively assist the team in service delivery.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
• Extensive experience in applying and enforcing related legislation in relation to a range of development, swimming pool and Environmental Compliance issues.
• Experience in supervising and motivating staff to achieve optimum levels of effectiveness.
• Hold a current Class C Drivers Licence.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications such as Certificate IV in Regulatory Services or Certificate IV Government (Investigations).
• Expert knowledge of regulatory enforcement tools, investigation techniques and the collection and giving of evidence.
