Full Time, Ongoing About the Role As South Australia's largest health network, Central Adelaide (also known as CALHN) plays a vital role in improving the health and wellbeing of South Australians. As Principal Industrial Relations Consultant, you will lead the resolution of industrial and employee relations matters through the provision of high level advice, advocacy, and support. You will facilitate the management and resolution of workplace disputes, grievances and other employee/INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS matters through the provision of timely and effective consulting and partnering services, project management and advisory services, representing the employer in industrial and employee relations matters and the management of IR correspondence. You will: Lead the resolution of complex industrial and employee relations matters Provide advocacy services and appear before State Tribunals including the SA Employment Tribunal Lead and/or contribute to IR project work and reviews Contribute to the progression of change management by providing strategic IR advice and support Develop and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including unions We are seeking someone who: Has demonstrated experience in delivering professional and timely advice on industrial / employee relations matters Has excellent influencing and communication skills, both written and orally Has a proven ability to build relationships and engage with a range of stakeholders Can work under pressure and effectively to deadlines, in a team and independently Has a tertiary level qualification in law, human resources management, INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS or relevant experience to the role Has sound knowledge of INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS issues in the government environment Benefits of Working at CALHN From salary packaging to flexible working arrangements, and a large range of opportunities for movement and career progression, you'll find there are lots of benefits of working with Central Adelaide Local Health Network.
