A State Government department tasked with finding a Team Leader for their Financial operations department to join their busy team on a temporary assignment until May 2025.
About the role:
- Provide leadership to the Transactional Finance team, including day-to-day technical support and supervision
- Lead the accounts payable and receivable function, including debt management
- Deliver finance and budget-related papers and briefs for executive meetings and board meetings within strict timeframes
- manage the debt and instalment function across the three schemes, including reporting on the current and future state
- support the Manager with the production of executive and board reporting, in relation to debt and instalment arrangements
About you:
- Demonstrated ability to lead an accounts payable, receivable and debt management team
- CPA or CA qualifications highly regarded
- Experience in accounts payable, receivable and debt management
- Stakeholder engagement (reporting at Executive/Board level)
