Access theOverviewReporting to the Manager Scheme Sustainability, you'll lead finance transactional activities, supervising a small team.Responsibilities include managing accounts payable/receivable, debt, and instalment functions, monitoring performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement.Your role involves executive and board reporting, policy review, and ensuring legal compliance.Demonstrated leadership in finance and stakeholder management is crucial.Your contribution
Using your understanding and experience in finance, you will:
- provide leadership to the Transactional Finance team, including day-to-day technical support and supervision
- lead the accounts payable and receivable function, including debt management
- manage the debt and instalment function across the three schemes, including reporting on the current and future state
- actively monitor the team's performance against defined SLAs and other key metrics such as aged debtor's and payment terms
- oversee the effective management of workflows to drive transactional and billing processes
- support the Manager with the production of executive and board reporting, in relation to debt and instalment arrangements
- deliver finance and budget-related papers and briefs for executive meetings and board meetings within strict timeframes
- drive change and facilitate continuous improvement of financial operational processes in collaboration with own team and whole of organisation to create better practices, support a digital strategy and for a quality customer experience
- assist in the review and update of financial operation policies and procedures to ensure that they are kept current in accordance with QLeave's Controlled documents framework
- maintain and develop a culture of continuous learning across the team to enhance the attainment of effective, quality and efficient outcomes
- ensure QLeave complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
- complete any other tasks as directed by your supervisor.
