Team Leader – Financial Operations

Financial Systems and Operations Branch within Defence Finance Group is calling for applications from talented individuals to provide technical and leadership expertise and exceptional customer service in their Financial Operations areas.

In particular knowledge and experience in purchase orders and accounts payable are desirable capabilities to succeed in this role.

You will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day operations in geographically dispersed teams across Australia. You will also manage change and influence behaviours to promote a supportive and inclusive culture as Defence Finance undergoes reform. You will provide exemplary customer service to the whole of Defence on complex finance and technical enquiries, while ensuring service level standards are achieved.

You will play an active role in supporting Defence Enterprise Reform Program (ERP) readiness activities and implementation.

Financial Systems and Operations provides support to the whole of Defence. This may necessitate variable start and finish times to meet business outcomes within our bandwidth.
