In this role, you'll:
Supervise a cooperative and high performing team carrying out Day Work (routine or repetitive) maintenance activities and take an active part in work planning, prioritising and resourcing decisions.
Facilitate maintenance team processes to meet agreed work plans and project specifications. The area of operation may include:
Maintenance of established pavements
Installation and maintenance of roadside fixtures and signage
Maintenance of drains and drainage structures
Application of road marking materials
Application of bituminous sealing materials
Provide guidance and on the job training to team members in non-trades environment on relevant procedures to improve work activities and develop team performance.
Resolve routine problems that arise during work and suggest solutions to complex problems to ensure risks are minimised.

About you
A natural Team Leader and safety professional, you seek meaningful work on important projects that contribute to a safe functioning road network for our communities. It's essential you have:
Broad experience in road maintenance.
Knowledge or experience in supervision of small teams.
Current Construction Industry White Card.
Current unrestricted NSW motor vehicle driver's license).
Willingness to undertake any legislated or internal licensing or ticketing requirements.
