About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Team Leader to lead our Maryborough, Hervey Bay, and Bundaberg offices. As the Team Leader for our Wide Bay & Fraser Coast team, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and management to our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager and senior leadership to set and meet budgetary goals.
- Guide and mentor junior team members, leveraging your extensive broking experience.
- Ensure high standards of customer service, managing escalations effectively to maintain client satisfaction.
- Align team performance with the broader objectives of the QIB Group, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
Team Development:
- Foster a supportive team environment focused on achieving optimal outcomes for our clients.
- Utilise our training and development resources, including a dedicated manager, buddy system, and paid qualifications, to enhance team capabilities.
- Promote wellness through our discounts and access to the EAP service.
About You
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Team Leader or Senior Account Manager within an Insurance Brokerage.
- Hold a Tier 1 (Insurance Broking) qualification.
- Demonstrated strong compliance mindset.
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain robust relationships with all stakeholders.

- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle escalations calmly and effectively.
