The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water is currently seeking to appoint a Team Leader Integrated Assessmentsto join our Environment & Heritage Group division.
Within the Estuaries and Catchments teams, the Team Leader drives the design and delivery of Water Wetlands and Coastal Science programs and strategies to internal and external customers in line with priorities in EHG science and knowledge programs. The team has a focus on the development and delivery of decision support tools and frameworks that guide management and policy decision related top waterways and catchment management .
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Demonstrated ability to develop individual and team capability maximizing opportunities for collaboration and delivering customer focused results from science programs.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and foster relationships with peers including in government agencies and external clients and collaborators to deliver science programs.
- Demonstrate experience in project management and implementation of processes that improve productivity, encourage innovation, develop teamwork and enhance the delivery of science.
- A scientific degree in a relevant field and/or demonstrated experience developing and leading rigorous, discrete, science programs in a relevant scientific discipline.
