We are a not-for-profit National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider. Our Head Office is based in Wagga Wagga but we are located throughout the Riverina Murray region.
About the Opportunity
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced and passionate individual to join our Lifestyle Choices team in Leeton. As a Team Leader, you’ll strive to provide a quality support service that meets the individual needs of our clients. You’ll have a person centred approach coupled with the ability to lead and inspire a team of Community Support Workers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and mentor the Community Support Workers in your team to achieve client goals and positive experiences for the people we support
- Lead by example to promote person-centred active support in all areas of the work you and your team perform
- Participate in the onboarding process for new staff members and facilitate an effective orientation program including medication competency training
- Collaborate with staff, clients, families, and other stakeholders to understand, address and resolve any issues affecting service delivery
- Ensure adherence to the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Practice Standards and approved policy and procedures
