Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our organisation, Advance Disability Services & Respite. As a Registered NDIS Provider, we are committed to delivering high-quality supports and services to individuals aged 17-65 living with disabilities in Western Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging and managing staff to provide comprehensive support in all aspects of the lives of people with disabilities.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Manage a large team of Disability Support Workers.
- Recruitment, induction and training of staff and volunteers.
- Implement strategies and programs that support participants to achieve their goals and live their best live.
- Provide supportive direction, training and coaching to large number of staff
- Monitor staff performance and compliance with all policies and procedures and take corrective and/or disciplinary action as required.
- Conduct quarterly observation's and one on ones with staff
- Provide feedback to staff on their performance.
- Provide feedback to management on staff performance.
- Ensure support is underpinned and delivered in alignment with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework, Person Centred approach and ADSR’s Values.
- Ensure participants are supported to live their best life and develop skills aligned to their goals.
- Support and actively encourage participants to make decisions about their supports.
- Work with other providers, agencies and organisations to facilitate participant’s access to necessary services and activities of interest.
- Engage with existing and potential participants, their families, advocates, members of the community, practitioners, therapists and other carers and service providers.
- Roster staff when needed
About you
Essential
- Minimum 2 years experience managing staff including conducting one on ones, performance and annual reviews etc
-Strong leadership skills
- Strong knowledge and understand of the disability industry
- High level of computer literacy and the ability to adapt quickly changes
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to build relationships quickly
- Effective communication and literacy skills with a focus on attention to detail
- Sound judgement, flexibility and ability to work well under pressure
- Current NDIS Worker Check, National Police Check and Working With Children Check
- Valid Driver’s Licence
Desirable
- Qualification in related field

Hours of work:
-Full time, 38 hours.
-Preferably 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. ADSR Support Flexible working, so for the right candidate these hours can vary!
