Maxlife Care is growing. We are looking for experienced Team Leaders (or very experienced Disability Support Workers looking to step up)to be employed in our SIL houses across the Sydney region.
About the Role
Reporting to the Area Supervisor you will be someone who can work independently whilst still being able to take on a leadership role.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Leadership experience in the disability sector
- Experience across a range of disabilities, including Mental Health
- Minimum Certificate III (Individual Support) or similar/higher
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organisational and motivational skills.
- Ability to follow and maintain confidentiality and privacy principles.
- Ability to collaborate and foster good working relationships.
- Strong understanding/modelling of Person Centred Practice.
- Capacity to keep records, examine and review workplace practices, including safety, and innovation.
Essential Criteria:
- Full COVID Vaccination (with booster) is mandatory.
- NSW Driver’s License (or similar) plus own car.
