The Role:
- Lead a team and provide guidance and direction on a range of diverse environmental projects to ensure they are managed on time and within budget.
- Undertake habitat revegetation, biodiversity & bushcare projects, weed control, hydroseeding & native seeding, and bushfire mitigation & prevention activities.
- Engage with staff, clients and members of the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Adhere to all work health and safety guidelines and best practices including incident reporting.
About You:
- Previous experience in environmental or Natural Resource Management.
- Knowledge in plant identification of South Australian plants and weeds.
- Diploma in Conservation and Land Management and/or Certificate II in Horticulture or equivalent.
- Staff supervisory experience in a similar Team Leader role.
- Positive attitude and work ethic.
- Attention to detail and a track record of producing quality work.
- Current White Card, Police and DHS clearances are required or willing to obtain.
