Team Leader - Night Shift

About The Role 

We are currently looking for a full-time Team Lead to join our Night Shift team based at Clayton South. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the production jobs for your specific area are carried out to the highest level of quality and efficiency. We are specifically looking a Team Lead to be the responsible person conducting the Night Shift operations.  

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Leading 10-15 people within the rice cakes manufacturing team in the commissioning and manufacturing of rice cakes 
• The reliable operations and adjustment of allocated equipment 
• Communicate with team members and support team to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality production 
• Component changeover and rest of equipment and line in allocated standards 
• Cleaning of machinery and work environment 
• Fault diagnosis and communication to maintenance and engineering trades lines and equipment issues 
• Performing a range of tasks involving the set up and operation of an entire process 
• Contributing to the development of standard operating procedures and standard equipment and process settings  

About You 

Ideally, you will have a few years’ experience working in a similar role, preferably within food manufacturing. Experience with Chocolate would be highly advantageous.  

You will have: 

• Strong leadership capability 
• Technical knowledge of packaging machine operation, including equipment care, hygiene, and maintenance  
• Ability to read and follow recipes and standard processes 
• Ability to adjust and optimize packaging equipment performance  
• Ability to manage multiple processes running concurrently and follow standard procedures 
• Sounds interpersonal and numeracy skills (reading, writing and communication skills) 
• Ability to use electrical data entry devices 
• Ability to maintain work area to quality standards
