About the opportunity
As a Roster CoordinationTeam Leader, you will be responsible for supporting a small dynamic team to assist with the delivery of Roster Coordination support across NSW Health Pathology. Providing a high level of customer service and establishing strong working relationships with staff across all levels of the organisation.

- Responsible for the supervision and service delivery of Roster Coordination support across NSW Health Pathology (NSWHP).
- Interacting and managing Roster Coordination team members in undertaking their key accountability functions.
- Provide a high level of customer support by managing and maintaining accurate rostering practices across a statewide organisation, with the ability to provide extended support and training to Roster system users.

- Demonstrated ability to provide support and guidance to subordinates and managers in relation to complex pay enquiries and payroll functions requiring interpretation of policies, procedures and Awards.
- Ability to supervise staff together with effective interpersonal and written communication skills including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering quality roster support services including audit functions with a high level of accuracy.
- Understanding and ability to interpret relevant policies, Awards and legislation relating to rostering system pay related matters and enquiries and the ability to scrutinise information and make considered decisions based on the information available.
- Well developed communication skills with a focused and responsive approach to providing education and training to new Roster Coordination staff, employees and managers in HealthRoster rostering and roster related systems, procedures and policies.

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
