Australia's largest public museum organisation is seeking a Team Leader to provide day-to-day supervision of the Visitor Engagement team at Scienceworks.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of the Team Leader will be to provide day-to-day supervision of a Visitor Engagement team to delivery high-quality customer service to visitors. The Team Leader will support the Visitor Engagement Operations Officer in organising and delivering operational requirements within the Visitor Engagement team at SW, including rostering, training and induction programs.
NOTABE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience leading and providing support to a team in delivering exceptional customer service in a museum setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with notable experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated skills in the use of computerised systems, including ticketing, booking and point of sale systems.
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving and complaint resolution in a fast-paced busy work environment.
The successful applicant will be able to work 8 days across a fortnight, including every second weekend, and occasional evenings as needed.
OTHER INFORMATION
This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) Fixed-Term position until 31 December 2024. The salary on offer is $66,063 base of grade (pro rata) + 11% superannuation.
