Key Responsibilities Key areas of responsibility include: Oversee the day-to-day activities for a team of Stakeholder & Community Engagement Advisors.Be a point of escalation for the team, with responsibility for escalating issues, risks and opportunities to the Manager, SME as needed.Support the Manager SME with strategic Community Engagement activities as directed.Develop, deliver, and monitor Community Engagement and communication strategies.Build and secure customer satisfaction by generating awareness of our project delivery and the benefits of partnerships, through a range of channels.Partner with project managers and staff and provide advice on best practice engagement and communication strategies.Identify opportunities to improve communication channels, leveraging emerging technologies where appropriate.Have the customer and community perspectives at the forefront of project planning and delivery, holding a key role in identifying and mitigating risks to customer experience and satisfaction.Develop trusting, productive relationships across the organisation, and with external stakeholders.About you We are looking for someone who has a passion for leading and coaching others in the delivery of high-quality communication strategies. If you have the following capabilities, get in touch: Demonstrated experience in leading and coaching people.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as relationship management skills.Demonstrated experience in a Community Engagement, stakeholder management, public relations or communications role.High level of organisational skills and ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.Sound knowledge of effective public participation frameworks and models.Knowledge of effective communication tools, techniques, and mechanisms as well as demonstrated awareness of brand risk mitigation.Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Sociology, Engagement (or a related field).More details on responsibilities and core capabilities can be found in the linked position description.
