About the Role...
We have multiple ongoing opportunities for suitably qualified candidate to join our City Operations - Support Services team. In these roles role you will undertake programmed or reactive minor civil maintenance works that contributes to maintaining and lifting city appearance, including (but not limited to):
- Concrete footpath removal, installation, maintenance, and finishing (including setting up and levels);
- Brick and paver laying (including setting up and levels);
- Kerb maintenance; Bitumen works; Graffiti removal; and
- General labouring;

About You...
It’s important to us that you are the right fit to join our team, but just as important, that Playford is the right place for you.
You will need a range of relevant and current certificates, licences and experience to be suitable for this role. Some of these include holding qualifications or demonstrated experience in Civil construction, Civil Maintenance, or Horticulture. Holding a current (unrestricted) MR Driver's licence is also essential.
In addition you will have:
- Demonstrated ability and experience to undertake all facets of minor concrete and paving works;
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience of civil practices;
- Demonstrated ability and experience in operating and maintaining Council’s medium plant and equipment relevant to the position.
