About your opportunityApplications are invited for the position of Team Member within the Engineering Services - Works, a Program of the Swan Hill Rural City Council. This position joins the Robinvale team which involves maintaining all Council’s Parks & Gardens, irrigation maintenance, drainage maintenance, concrete works and CBD maintenance.
Applicants will need to be team orientated, multi-skilled and have the ability to complete a full range of tasks with minimal supervision. Experience or qualifications in horticulture or civil works, and a medium rigid licence are desirable but not essential.
Some early starts are a requirement of the position. Experience or qualifications in horticulture, landscaping or turf management and a medium rigid licence are desirable but not essential.
What we can offer youApproximately $64,621 per annum (this includes Industry allowances). In addition superannuation is paid at 14%. This is a full-time position within Council. Other employment benefits include salary sacrifice, uniform allowance, 9 day fortnight (38 hr week), annual leave loading at 17.5% and provision of all relevant and approved protective clothing.
