The Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA)'s vision is to build a more disaster resilient Queensland.
In this role you will be QRA's subject matter expert for managing the assessment of plant and equipment eligibility and reimbursement and regular benchmarking activities to ensure that QRA's cost estimation framework complies with program governance.
Leverage your qualifications and costing experience to:
- Develop and maintain subject matter expert knowledge of program governance relevant to plant and equipment, benchmarking and cost estimation.
- Review and manage the application of QRA's reconstruction standard treatments and benchmark rates utilising first principles estimation.
- Assess submissions for value for money and against QRA's plant asset usage reimbursement (and associated Commonwealth and State government funding requirements) through whole-of-life costing and subsequent review of actual costs.
- Maintain sustainable and best practice approaches for benchmarking activities including systems and processes that support timely completion of activities that align with program governance.
- Engage with internal stakeholders in the identification, escalation and management of risks for assessments, eligibility and benchmarking.
- Facilitate commercial risk management and develop and maintain technical, commercial and risk frameworks.
- Maintain high quality data and produce timely, transparent and accurate quantitative and qualitative reporting.
