Your new role
The services required include, but not limited to,
- Projects and initiatives - assess and implement new solutions or measures to enhance the depatment's Cyber Security capability hosted within Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud platforms.
- Cyber security operations - administer and support the following existing Cyber Security technology and solutions in place for the Department, as required:
- Vulnerability management (VM)
- Endpoint prevention, detection, and response (EDR)
- Security incident and event management (SIEM)
- Cloud security posture management (CSPM)
What you'll need to succeed
Working experience and understanding of cloud-based security solutions relevant to MS Azure and MS O365 platforms.
Working knowledge of key cybersecurity best practice standards, ACSC Essential Eight, ASD ISM, and NIST Cyber Security Framework.
Experience with solutions such as MS Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Qualys, Tenable.io, CrowdStrike, Intune or SCCM are highly regarded.
Possession of or progress towards a relevant certification/qualification, e.g. CISSP, CCSP or Microsoft cloud security certifications.
