Technical Business Development Manager - Technical Building Systems

Role Summary:

This technical position focuses on driving specifications through architects and engineers for our innovative building system used in commercial projects. The role involves end-to-end project management and offers ample opportunity for professional growth.
 

• Responsibilities:
   
• Generate new business through existing and potential networks, targeting architects and engineers.
• Assess and tap into new market avenues for consistent business growth.
• Maintain and manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and business profitability.
• Cultivate strong, long-lasting customer relationships through effective communication and negotiation.
• Schedule and conduct on-site consultations and inspections, as necessary.
• Acquire and maintain a detailed level of technical knowledge concerning our wall and panel products.
• Collaborate internally to meet customer needs and expand business scope.
• Consistently meet or exceed set sales targets within agreed-upon timeframes.

  Skills & Qualifications:
   

• Sales experience in a similar capacity within the building or construction sector.
•  A Degree in engineering – mechanical, structural, civil is highly regarded.
• Proven ability in relationship-building and contract negotiation.
• High level of computer literacy, including experience with office suites and CRM software.
• Must have a current driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for business-related travel.
