The Opportunity
Our products are designed and manufactured in Australia and sold globally. We're expanding our Technical Compliance team to help with increasing demand and planned expansion of the business.

Working in the R&D team, your role will involve gaining and maintaining certification for the range of Billi products. You'll collaborate with Product Development, Engineering and Marketing to ensure that product and technical documentation is produced correctly, within compliance of the regulatory and technical standards for Australia and around the world.

  • Prepare and maintain product compliance and certification documentation.
  • Work with local and international certifying bodies, testing laboratories and suppliers to arrange testing and assessments of new and existing parts and products.
  • Verify that information produced by the Product Development and Engineering team adheres to product compliance requirements.
  • Update compliance records to keep them aligned with changes to standards and certification.
  • Maintain the product literature and data such as product user guides, labelling and specification sheets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from the wider business to integrate product compliance considerations into the Manufacturing Operations and Marketing documentation.
  • Co-ordinate with others to provide necessary documentation and arrange production and delivery of samples needed for product testing.
  • Develop a good understanding of Australian and international product certification requirements and processes.
  • Support Manufacturing and Product compliance audits conducted at our Melbourne Factory.

Essentials 
You are;
  • Able to read and understand the standards and regulations used for the consumer appliance industry.
  • Organised and conscientious in your approach to work.
  • Capable of communicating clearly with people both internal and external to the business.
  • Good at working with others of different technical abilities to communicate the product compliance requirements to ensure undestanding.
  • Able to liaise with the wider business team about the requirements for product compliance.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Capable of working on multiple projects.
  • Able to follow instructions to complete work efficiently.
  • Have a friendly disposition when interacting with others.
Desirable
  • Prior experience in a compliance or certification role
