AddressInternational Programmes Service Specialist – Producing Office (Technical Consultant)
This is a newly created full-time permanent role, based in our Sydney IP (International Programmes) Team. If you have excellent organisational skills, a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel in particular), are a motivated, proactive and professional individual this is an excellent opportunity to be part of our team. You will be provided with training and guidance and play a pivotal role supporting our IP team internationally. You should possess exceptional attention to detail, be a great team player with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Day-to-day management of international insurance programmes including renewal of medium sized account portfolios;
- Providing technical support to Underwriters, Market Managers and other stakeholders including advice on compliant solutions, country capabilities, network costs and other related information on IP;
- Work with the Service Delivery Manager in the development of programme structure for new business opportunities;
- Assist in chasing premium payments via email and co-ordinate with the network of insurers;
- Meet with brokers and clients, along with our Underwriters to discuss new business opportunities as and when required;
- Ensure the accuracy of documentation for internal and external stakeholders while adhering to company procedures and guidelines;
- Assist the team with a variety of ad hoc administrative tasks in an evolving administration function;
- Seek opportunities to improve internal business processes;
- Apply best business practice in all activities ethically, professionally and with integrity;
- Support cross-class marketing initiatives which primarily involve IP and provide support in building reputation of service excellence within Australia;
- Co-ordinate training and presentation to brokers and clients, promoting IP capabilities.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a fast-paced corporate environment, ideally in a customer facing role;
- University degree or equivalent further education would be an advantage;
- Ability to manage competing priorities by having excellent time management skills;
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication including managing key internal stakeholders;
- Good problem solving skills;
- Positive attitude, with a desire to work collaboratively in a team environment;
- Proven ability to learn, and work well with, various technology tools and databases;
- Strong attention to detail and able to process data accurately and efficiently.
