Learn more about our business here.Capability Life Cycle Management (CLCM)The CLCM is integrated into the System Program Office (SPO) and contracted to deliver through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS). The CLCM performs asset, sustainment and engineering functions to optimise availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and minimise risk through life of the PBS. The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with Regional Maintenance Centre’s (RMC) to plan maintenance activities and installation of capability upgrades. The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with the Design Services Contract (DSC) to plan and execute engineering changes and services. The CLCM delivers functions against the contract scope across the Asset Class Enterprise to support Defence Maritime Capability.The Opportunity:The Technical Data Librarian is responsible to the Configuration and Data Manager for the management of technical document on the PBS. The Technical Data Librarian will manage and coordinate a document assurance program in order to keep current the suite of technical documents that support the PBS.Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the customers virtual technical library documentation.
- Manage amendments to technical documents by the CLCM, third parties and other Defence agencies.
- Support development of basic Structured Querying Language (SQL) queries
- Interpret and manipulate relational and object oriented database schemas.
- Provide Data Analysis support to internal and external client stakeholders.
- Assist in the conversion of various data formats in preparation for upload into a component of the Data Management Environment
- Assist in the validation of various data formats and provide feedback (written and verbal) to the originator with recommended solutions
- Assist internal stakeholders in the use of applications used in the Data Management Environment including but not limited to: Objective, JIRA, AMPS, CMT, and external clients.
- Participate in the Data Assurance frameworks in place across the data management environment through the execution of processes including Security/Access Management, Data Integrity and Data Alignment.
- Minimum of 2 years Database Administration Experience.
- Data Management Experience in an Asset management environment
- Experience with Objective, AMPS, CMT.
- Qualifications or Certification in at least one of the following:
- SQL Server databases
- Ingres Database
- Oracle
- Experience with MS Access databases including query and report development.:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Document writing skills including authoring of processes and procedures, internal training material and preparation of reports from the data management system.
- Must be eligible for ITAR clearance of relevant ship systems.
- Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience in Training delivery – Certificate IV.
- Experience in a Marine environment.
- Experience with Department of Defence design delivery.
- Experience in SCPM.
