About You
We are seeking a senior Technical Director and a recognised leader in the roads and highways industry with a strong industry presence and reputation in developing, leading and delivering significant roads projects. We are especially interested in candidates who are accustomed to working with a range of high-level road and highway related stakeholders and managing the technical design inputs across several key disciplines across a program.
With tertiary qualifications relevant to Engineering, you have proven skills and knowledge within both brownfield and greenfield road and highway environments and an appreciation of multi-disciplinary requirements of road and highway projects in feasibility, preliminary and detailed design. You will have excellent communications and leadership skills, with a background in major project delivery, able to bring a mature and relevant network connections in the local market. Above all, you will love to take on a challenge, working with great teams to achieve outstanding results and adopt a positive attitude to developing our business.

Your opportunity
Our Highways team is seeking a Technical Director with strong ties to industry leaders, and who can engage with our clients to advance our market position. As a key member of our Transport team, you will work closely with our discipline leads internally to deliver projects and tenders for key clients.
- Driving the coordination of pursuits, winning work, and enhancing market presence in line with the overarching strategy;
- Developing and maintaining key client relationships.
We have a secure pipeline of diverse and high-profile city shaping projects locally, as well as providing critical support to our offices throughout Australia. Significant projects include Technical Advisory Services for the iconic Suburban Rail Loop and delivering Level Crossing Removals in the Western Program Alliance (WPA). Your role will be to maximise opportunities on these important programs and drive new client relationships.
