The opportunity
We have an opportunity for Technical Trainers to join our team based in Oakey in permanent full-time positions. Reporting to the Airbus Team Lead Technical Training ARH for administrative and performance management matters, the Technical Instructor will be embedded within the RAMS instructional teams with daily Instructional, on job training and RAMS GTD tasking from the Commonwealth of Australia Senior Instructor ARH. You will be required to deliver training in accordance with approved CoA Learning Management Packages and Defence policies and procedures. Additionally, you will also operate and maintain the ARH GTD in accordance the respective device operating manual.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need to live the Airbus Values, work with passion and determination, able to work to tight deadlines in an environment of continuous improvement. The skills and experience suited to this role:
- 5 years' experience in maintaining ADF aircraft or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force's System Approach to Defence Learning (SADL)
- Working knowledge of CAMM2
- Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, qualifications obtained as detailed within Defence ATI1-2 and 1-3, or a contemporary equivalent in accordance with national instructor and assessor guidelines
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills
- Aircraft Type Qualification Training
- Detailed knowledge of military aviation training regulations, standards and best practices
- Experience in people and resource management, managing competencies/certifications and working in a united team in the achievement of measurable results and strategic objectives.
