Job Title: Technical Lead
What you will be doing:
As the Technical Lead, your primary responsibility will involve leading engineering teams, offering strategic guidance, and ensuring the quality and alignment of our platforms. You will play a crucial role in developing products according to the technology strategy and product roadmaps, collaborating on technology decisions, design patterns, and overall technical direction within your domain.
You are expected to be a skilled digital software engineer in your field, capable of examining and enhancing software engineering practices to elevate practice maturity and capability. While this position is technical in nature, you will also be hands-on in writing code to leverage your technical expertise.
- Solid background in full-stack development
- Experience in leading and nurturing software engineering teams
- Proficiency in crafting solutions within complex, cloud-based environments
- Work experience with Java and/or Node.JS
- Hands-on experience in front-end development using React or Angular
- Designing, building, and managing solutions on AWS cloud with a focus on scalability and reliability, utilizing serverless and event-driven architecture
- Experience in overseeing applications in production with a strong emphasis on observability
- Experience in a heavily regulated industry
- Familiarity with hybrid in-house/offshore delivery models
- Expertise in modernizing legacy technical stacks to align with current industry standards in software development and delivery
- Experience in driving technological change within an organization catering to both B2C and B2B requirements
