Our client a Leading retails based company is currently seeking a skilled Technical Lead Node.js to join their team of innovative software engineers.
We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented professional who can take on the challenge of developing and refining applications utilising Node.js technology.
You will be responsible for looking after a team of 6-9 developers and you will play an integral part to the technology roadmap the company has.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance Node.js applications
Coordinate with internal teams to leverage existing features and drive technical solutions
Test and troubleshoot components to ensure stability and appropriate functionality of applications
Monitor application performance in production environments
Design frictionless workflows to improve quality assurance processes and reduce development time
Optimize code for maximum speed, scalability, and security
Documentation for all aspects of development process
Mentor junior engineers on best practices with Node.js
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science or related field required
5+ years experience using Node.js
Proficient in JavaScript andJavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Understanding of REST API architecture
Self-directed; able to work independently and prioritise tasks as needed
